Chuck Reynolds (C.R. Reynolds) was born on October 5, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas. After going to high school at Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX), Reynolds attended Texas Christian University and the University of Tulsa. Reynolds made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Chuck Reynolds's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
