Chuck Ramsey (Lowell Wallace Ramsey) was born on February 24, 1952 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. After going to high school at West (Knoxville, TN), Ramsey attended Wake Forest University. Ramsey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1984 was Chuck Ramsey's best year, as he dropped 19 punts inside the 20.
