Chuck Porter

Born on January 12, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland, Chuck Porter (Charles William Porter) played for the Milwaukee Brewers for his entire 5 year career. Porter broke into the bigs on September 14, 1981 with the Milwaukee Brewers, and put up a 4.50 ERA in 134 innings pitched in 1983, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Chuck Porter's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1983, when he posted a 4.50 ERA and struck out 76 batters. However, others believe that it was 1984, when he posted a 3.87 ERA.
