Chuck Kress

Chuck Kress (Charles Steven Kress) was born on December 9, 1921 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1947 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1949, his rookie year, he hit .272 with 1 home run and 47 RBI. Kress played for the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 4 year career.
