Chuck Gavin (Charles E. Gavin) was born on December 26, 1933 in Lake, Mississippi. After going to high school at Oak Park (Laurel, MS), Gavin attended Tennessee State University. Gavin made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1961 was Chuck Gavin's best year, as he ran back a punt for a touchdown.
