Born on November 26, 1962 in Monroe, Louisiana, Chuck Finley (Charles Edward Finley) played for the California Angels, Anaheim Angels, Cleveland Indians and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 17 year career. Finley broke into the bigs on May 29, 1986 with the California Angels, and put up a 4.67 ERA in 90.2 innings pitched in 1987, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Chuck Finley's best season was 1990, when he posted a 2.40 ERA, won 18 games and struck out 177 batters.
