Chuck Diering

Chuck Diering (Charles Edward Allen Diering) was born on February 5, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1947 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1949, his rookie year, he hit .263 with 3 home runs and 38 RBI. Diering played for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 9 year career.
