Chuck Bennett (Charles Henry Bennett) was born on August 9, 1907 in Linton, Indiana. After going to high school at Linton (IN), Bennett attended Indiana University. Bennett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Portsmouth Spartans. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and Portsmouth Spartans over the course of his 2 year career.
