Chuck Avedisian (Charles Toros Avedisian) was born on September 19, 1917 in West Hoboken, New Jersey. After going to high school at Pawtucket (RI), Avedisian attended Providence University. Avedisian made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1944 was Chuck Avedisian's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
