Born on May 25, 1979 in Dallas, Texas, Chris Young (Christopher Ryan Young) played for the Texas Rangers and San Diego Padres over the course of his 3 year career. Young broke into the bigs on August 24, 2004 with the Texas Rangers, and put up a 4.26 ERA in 164.2 innings pitched in 2005, his rookie year.
