Chris Truby (Christopher John Truby) was born on December 9, 1973 in Palm Springs, California. He made his Major League debut on June 16, 2000 for the Houston Astros. In 2000, his rookie year, he hit .260 with 11 home runs and 59 RBI. Truby played for the Houston Astros, Montreal Expos, Detroit Tigers and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that Chris Truby's best season was 2000, when he knocked in 59 runs.
