Chris Thome (Christopher John Thome) was born on January 15, 1969 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. After going to high school at St. Thomas Academy (St. Paul, MN), Thome attended the University of Minnesota. Thome made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 2 year career.
