Chris Sheffield (Christopher Jonathan Sheffield) was born on January 9, 1963 in Cairo, Georgia. After going to high school at Cairo (GA), Sheffield attended Albany State University. Sheffield made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1987 was Chris Sheffield's best year.
