Born on January 28, 1972 in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, Chris Peters (Christopher Michael Peters) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Montreal Expos over the course of his 6 year career. Peters broke into the bigs on July 19, 1996 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 5.62 ERA in 64 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Chris Peters's best season was 1998, when he posted a 3.47 ERA and struck out 103 batters.
