Chris Knapp

Born on September 16, 1953 in Cherry Point, North Carolina, Chris Knapp (Robert Christian Knapp) played for the Chicago White Sox and California Angels over the course of his 6 year career. Knapp broke into the bigs on September 4, 1975 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 4.82 ERA in 52.1 innings pitched in 1976, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Chris Knapp's best season was 1978, when he posted a 4.21 ERA, won 14 games and struck out 126 batters.
