Born on November 16, 1968 in Baltimore, Maryland, Chris Haney (Christopher Deane Haney) played for the Montreal Expos, Kansas City Royals, Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 11 year career. Haney broke into the bigs on June 21, 1991 with the Montreal Expos, and put up a 4.04 ERA in 84.2 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Chris Haney's best season was 1996, when he posted a 4.70 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 115 batters.
