Chris Golub (Christopher Golub) was born on December 2, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri. After going to high school at Nortn (Shawnee Mission, KS), Golub attended the University of Kansas. Golub made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 1 year career.
