Chris Godfrey (Christopher James Godfrey) was born on May 17, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at DeLaSalle (Detroit, MI) and Lake (Miami, FL), Godfrey attended the University of Michigan. Godfrey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets over the course of his 6 year career.
