Born on March 26, 1958 in Oxnard, California, Chris Codiroli (Christopher Allen Codiroli) played for the Oakland Athletics, Cleveland Indians and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 8 year career. Codiroli broke into the bigs on September 11, 1982 with the Oakland Athletics, and put up a 4.46 ERA in 205.2 innings pitched in 1983, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Chris Codiroli's best season was 1985, when he posted a 4.46 ERA, won 14 games and struck out 111 batters.
