Chris Andersen banned from NBA

New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets forward/center Chris Andersen has been disqualified from the NBA for violating the terms of the league's Anti-Drug Program. The list of substances for which a player can be banned after a first positive test includes methamphetamine, cocaine, LSD, heroin, morphine, and PCP. Andersen, 27, can apply for reinstatement after two years.
