Chim Lingrel (Paul Chalmer Lingrel) was born on January 21, 1899 in Ridgeway, Ohio. After going to high school at Kenton (OH), Lingrel attended Miami University of Ohio. Lingrel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Oorang Indians. He played for the Oorang Indians for his entire 1 year career.
