Born on March 31, 1887 in Coldwater, Kansas, Chick Brandom (Chester Milton Brandom) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Newark Peppers over the course of his 3 year career. Brandom broke into the bigs on September 3, 1908 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 3.40 ERA in 50.1 innings pitched in 1915, his rookie year.
