Born on March 18, 1928 in Guayubin, Monte Cristi (Dominican Republic), Chi-Chi Olivo (Federico Emilio (Maldonado) Olivo) played for the Milwaukee Braves and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 4 year career. Olivo broke into the bigs on June 5, 1961 with the Milwaukee Braves, and put up a 3.75 ERA in 60 innings pitched in 1964, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Chi-Chi Olivo's best season was 1966, when he posted a 4.23 ERA.
