Chet Wetterlund (Chester Wetterlund) was born on March 19, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois. Wetterlund attended Illinois Wesleyan University. Wetterlund made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
