Chet Lagod (Chester Joseph Lagod) was born on January 8, 1928 in Fairpoint, Ohio. After going to high school at St. Clairsville (OH), Lagod attended the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Lagod made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
