Chet Gladchuck (Chester S. Gladchuck, Sr.) was born on April 4, 1917 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. After going to high school at Warren Harding (Bridgeport, CT), Gladchuck attended Boston College. Gladchuck made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1941 was Chet Gladchuck's best year.
