The Double A Texas League MVP in 2007, led league in hitting (.330), OBP (.437), and slugging (.580). Led San Antonio to Double A World Series title with two homers in the finals. Good instinctive player who pluses out on makeup, plate discipline, and arm. Headley improved dramatically from the right side in 2007 and is now considered a threat from both sides. Headley's only weakness is lack of speed, although his footwork around the hot corner is good. Is major league ready but is blocked, at least for now, by Kouzamanoff. Headley's makeup gives him a distinct advantage so Kouzmanoff moving to a corner outfield spot is a real possibility. Headley will start in Triple A but shouldn't be there too long.
