Charlie Wade (Charles Garnell Wade) was born on February 23, 1950 in Nashville, Tennessee. After going to high school at Meigs (Nashville, TN), Wade attended Tennessee State University. Wade made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1974 was Charlie Wade's best year, as he hauled in 39 receptions and had 683 receiving yards.
