Charlie Long

Charlie Long (Charles B. Long) was born on April 6, 1938 in DeKalb, Alabama. After going to high school at Fyfee (AL), Long attended the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Long made his professional debut in the AFL in 1961 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Boston Patriots for his entire 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1961 was Charlie Long's best year.
