Charlie Knight (Charles Edward Knight) was born on October 1, 1899 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Evanston Township (IL), Knight attended Loyola University Chicago. Knight made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.
