Charlie Janerette (Charles F. Janerette, Jr.) was born on December 1, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Germantown (PA), Janerette attended Pennsylvania State University. Janerette made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 3 year NFL career.Janerette also played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets over the course of his 3 year AFL career.

Most people believe that 1963 was Charlie Janerette's best year.
