Charlie Hollocher (Charles Jacob Hollocher) was born on June 11, 1896 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1918 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1918, his rookie year, he hit .316 with 2 home runs and 38 RBI. Hollocher played for the Chicago Cubs for his entire 7 year career.

Most people believe that Charlie Hollocher's best season was 1922, when he hit for a .340 average and knocked in 69 runs.
