Charlie Heileman (Charles Donald Heileman) was born on January 25, 1915 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. After going to high school at Fort Dodge (IA), Heileman attended Iowa State University. Heileman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
