Charlie Havens (Charles W. Havens) was born on July 12, 1903 in Rome, New York. After going to high school at Free Academy (Rome, NY), Havens attended Colgate University and McDaniel College. Havens made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Frankford Yellow Jackets for his entire 1 year career.
