Charlie Guy (Charles Howgate Guy) was born on December 5, 1896 in Schenectady, New York. After going to high school at Pinkerton Academy (Derry, NH), Guy attended Dartmouth College and Washington & Jefferson College. Guy made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Detroit Heralds. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Heralds over the course of his 2 year APFA career.Guy also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Dayton Triangles, Cleveland Indians and Buffalo All-Americans over the course of his 3 year NFL career.
