Charlie Grube (Charles William Grube) was born on June 11, 1904 in Saginaw, Michigan. After going to high school at Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI), Grube attended the University of Michigan. Grube made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Detroit Panthers. He played for the Detroit Panthers for his entire 1 year career.
