Charlie Greer (Charles Anthony Greer) was born on April 4, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia. After going to high school at South Fulton (Atlanta, GA), Greer attended the University of Colorado. Greer made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Denver Broncos. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time. Greer also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
Most people believe that 1970 was Charlie Greer's best year, as he picked off 4 passes and recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
