Charlie Granger (Charles Granger) was born on August 9, 1938 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. After going to high school at Booker T. Washington (Lake Charles, LA), Granger attended Southern University. Granger made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
