Charlie Fowler (Charles Clark Fowler, III) was born on November 10, 1944 in Nashville, Tennessee. After going to high school at Battel Ground Academy (Franklin, TN), Fowler attended Auburn University and the University of Houston. Fowler made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire 2 year career.
