Charlie Ford (Charles Glenn Ford) was born on December 10, 1948 in Beaumont, Texas. After going to high school at Beaumont (TX), Ford attended the University of Houston. Ford made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears, New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1972 was Charlie Ford's best year, as he picked off 7 passes.
