Charlie Diehl (Charles Christian Diehl) was born on January 13, 1905 in , UT. After going to high school at Filer (ID), Diehl attended the University of Idaho. Diehl made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and Cincinnati-St. Louis Reds-Gunners over the course of his 3 year career.
