Charlie Copley (Charles Francis Copley) in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Mahanoy City (PA), Copley attended Muhlenberg College and the University of Missouri-Rolla. Copley made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Akron Pros. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Akron Pros the entire time. Copley also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Milwaukee Badgers the entire time.
