Charlie Comiskey (Charles Albert Comiskey) was born on August 15, 1859 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on May 2, 1882 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1882, his rookie year, he hit .243 with 1 home run and 45 RBI. Comiskey played for the St. Louis Browns, Chicago Pirates and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Charlie Comiskey's best season was 1887, when he stole 117 bases, hit for a .335 average and knocked in 103 runs.
