Born on August 12, 1868 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Charlie Bell (Charles C. Bell) played for the Kansas City Cowboys, Louisville Colonels and Cincinnati Porkers over the course of his 2 year career. Bell broke into the bigs on October 13, 1889 with the Kansas City Cowboys, and put up a 4.19 ERA in 86 innings pitched in 1891, his rookie year.
