Charlie Batch (Charles D'Donte Batch) was born on December 5, 1974 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Steel Valley (Homestead, PA), Batch attended Eastern Michigan University. Batch made his professional debut in the NFL in 1998 with the Detroit Lions. He has played for the Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 2000 was Charlie Batch's best year, as he threw for 2489 yards and tossed 13 TDs.
