Charley Oakley (Charles Oakley) was born on July 7, 1931 in Montgomery, Alabama. After going to high school at (Lake Charles, LA), Oakley attended Louisiana State University. Oakley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
