Charley King (Charles Ronnie King) was born on January 7, 1943 in Canton, Ohio. After going to high school at Alliance (OH), King attended Purdue University. King made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1967 was Charley King's best year.
