Charles Wright (Charles James Wright) was born on April 3, 1964 in Carthage, Missouri. After going to high school at Carthage (MO), Wright attended Fort Scott Community College, Highland Community College and the University of Tulsa. Wright made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 2 year career.
