Born on May 5, 1967 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Charles Nagy (Charles Harrison Nagy) played for the Cleveland Indians and San Diego Padres over the course of his 14 year career. Nagy broke into the bigs on June 29, 1990 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 4.13 ERA in 211.1 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Charles Nagy's best season was 1992, when he posted a 2.96 ERA, won 17 games and struck out 169 batters.
