Charles Kirby (Charles Edward Kirby, Jr.) was born on November 27, 1974 in Cairo, Georgia. After going to high school at South View (NC), Kirby attended the University of Virginia. Kirby made his professional debut in the NFL in 2000 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 1 year career.
